August 29, 2009
7 Game Poker combines the most popular poker games in this awesome poker mixed challenge game. The following rules will help you brush up on the seven games that make up the 7 game poker mix when you sign up and play 7 Game Poker at Full Tilt.
The first game in the series is Holdem Fixed Limit. In this game, limits are placed while betting. For example, when you sit at a table marked $5/$10, the max bet for the first two rounds are $5 and the last two rounds is $10. During the actual game play, small blind is $5 and the big blind is $10. The first bet will start off the round and the players will be dealt their pocket cards facing down.
Seven Card Stud FL Hi/Lo
Seven Card Stud fixed limit Hi/Lo is the second game in the 7 Game Poker lineup. Each player will be dealt two cards face down, four cards dealt that are face up, and rounding off the deal will be a river card dealt face down. The player with the lowest card can bet at half of the low bet, and the player with the best hand shown may lead the bets for the game. During the first two rounds of play, the bets are at the low limit and the last two rounds are at the high limit. The Ace, depending on your hand, can either be high or low, which is based solely on the type of hand that you are putting together for that round.
Razz
Game number three, Fixed Limit Razz, is similar to seven card stud, but for this game, the low hand will take the pot. Each player must ante up before the start of the deal, and a bet must be at the lower limit after the beginning deal of the round. However, all of the bets must equal the low limits during rounds one and two, while the remaining rounds are bet at a high limit.
Omaha FL Hi/Lo
Players try to get the best hand by using two of their pocket cards and three cards from the community spread in the fourth game, Omaha Fixed Limit Hi/Lo. The betting process will begin with the player holding the button. The small blind and big blind are immediately to the left of the dealer, while the player next to big blind player is allowed to place the first bet of the game.
Seven Card Stud FL
Three cards are played face down and four cards are placed up for each one of the players at the table with Seven Card Stud Fixed Limit. The normal poker rules will apply as players try to make their best hand possible in order to take the pot.
Texas Holdem NL
The sixth game of 7 Game Poker is Texas Holdem No Limit. All players receive two pocket cards and then play five community cards face up on the table. Players try to arrange the best hand possible with their pocket cards and three of the five community cards. In Texas Holdem, there is a small and a big blind.
Omaha PL
Omaha Pot Limit, the last game in 7 Game Poker gives each player a chance to construct their hand with two cards from their hand and three cards from the community spread. A big blind and small blind are used and those players must place their bets before actual game play and before the cards are dealt.
